Help the House Foundation
Help the House Foundation is a non-profit created to provide an encompassing safety net for the hospitality industry. People working as servers, line cooks, bartenders, dishwashers, and all other industry professionals know that one major set back can be completely life altering.
A hospital trip not only means hospital bills, but missed work can also mean being short on rent, not being able to afford adequate groceries, missing payments, so many other things can ripple effect.
Help the House knows that assistance in one critical area can have a huge impact not only on affording all of those other bills but can greatly impact mental health. One piece of hope can mean so much to an individual facing crisis.
In order to provide this critical support, the Foundation accepts donations on its website, and holds an annual Gala Fundraising Event as well as other popup events titled as House Parties. Make sure to check monthly for new events, and don't wait too long to purchase tickets to the Gala, for 2025 it will be held in September at the Minneapolis Four Seasons.
